At Rainbows Nature School, kids are mentored and guided through nature based, cooperative activities. They learn how to interact and build symbiotic relationships with the plants and animals and with the kids in their group. Spending time immersed in the natural world builds confidence and a deep sense of belonging to your environment. Children have the opportunity to merge imagination and creativity with hands on tactile experiences. Through playing and collaborating with their friends on projects they care about, they grow together into a resilient, sovereign, empowered community.

Testimonials
When I asked my son about what he likes the most about being in outdoor class with Rainbow he said, “I like how she takes me waaaay out in the woods. And she shows me things that I haven’t seen before!” We love how she takes care of the kids and introduces them to nature as well as teaching them the skills they need to safely commune with it. From building fires, and playing fun games with the group, to learning the names of the plants and trees and animals that they encounter and ways to meet the weather of the day safely and comfortably, all of his experiences in this class have been formative for him and also much welcomed part of the week. My son is so happy out there in class with Rainbow. Thank you!

Rainbow’s Forest Class is my son’s favorite homeschool program! He has gained so much confidence and learned so many wilderness skills. Rainbow pours all of her nature expertise and beautiful spirit into her programs. We treasure our time with her and plan to be part of her classes for years to come!
